We are very proud of our long time contribution (over 35 years) to the betterment of the Alaskan Malamute. Although we no longer have one living with us, Vicki is a co-owner of a very special boy that lives in the US. Almost always owner handled to their wins by us or their owners we are pleased and honoured to have owned and/or bred such outstanding Alaskan Malamutes! The following are just a few of them.
MULTI BEST IN SHOW Ch. Byeyo’s I’m Matthew’s Star (Ringo)
A multi Best in Show winner with many group wins/placements. Ringo was the #1 Alaskan Malamute in Canada in 1988.
BEST IN SHOW Ch. Byeyo’s The Jackpot at Snoboe (Bingo)
Bingo was the youngest Malamute to ever win a Best in Show at just 8 months of age. Multiple BPIS, Group wins and placements. Co-owned and always shown by our dear friend Bonnie Thornhill.
BEST IN SHOW, Multi BISS Am. Can Ch. Byeyo’s Champagne N Ice, Am.Can. CD, CAM, ROM, CGC (Terrapin)
Terrapin won Best of Breed at Westminster in 1999, Winner of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America Top Twenty event in 1997 AND 1998, Multiple Best in Specialty wins, along with Award of Merit at both the US and Canada Nationals. She has so many other achievements that are just to many to list. One of the breeds top winning bitches. Many thanks to her owner Cheryl Paterson.
MULTI BEST IN SHOW Ch. Byeyo’s Canada Ice (Logan)
Logan was a multiple Best in Show winner with many group wins and placements. Often show by his owners Dan and Angela Villeneuve.
BEST IN SHOW Ch. Storm Kloud’s Canadian Club, CAM, CD, TT (Bear)
Bear was the #1 Alaskan Malamute in Canada in 1980. He had many group wins and placements, along with Specialty wins. He won a Group 1st and Best Puppy in Show at the prestigious Canadian Sportsman Show over many of the country’s top dogs and handlers at just 10 months of age. He had a presence that was undeniable. Bear obtained his CD with a high score in a very large class. He was a great producer and sired many champions. He was just a big teddy bear and passed that along to his kids.
BEST IN SHOW Am. Can. Ch. Moonsong’s Ursa Minor (Smokey)
Smokey finished his championship in the US and Canada undefeated. He has made a big impact on the breed through his many Multi Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show get. He is the sire/grandsire of many champions around the world.
Ch. Byeyo’s Trademark (Simon)
Simon finished his championship undefeated with many Breed wins. He is a winner of an All Breed Sweepstakes of over 100 puppies. The only time shown in the US he won a 5 pt. major under breeder/judge Nancy Russell. Simon was not shown as a special due to his brother Bingo being shown at the same time and then family needing to take priority over dog shows.
BPIS Ch. Byeyo’s Four on the Floor (Shifter)
Best Puppy in Show and a group placer from the puppy class. Shifter finished his championship as a puppy by going WD/BW at an area Booster show.
Ch. Byeyo’s Mad Max of Ketchican (Max)
Max finished his Championship as a puppy. He was co-owned with Doug and Chris Sadler
Am. Can. Ch. Sugarbear’s Winning Colors (Nikki)
Nikki had multiple group placements, Specialty wins and the dam of one of the breeds top winning bitches. A beautiful girl with exceptional movement.
Am.Can. Ch. SnoRidge’s Raisin (Kane) at Byeyo, CD, CAM, TT, CGC
Kane had multiple Specialty wins and is the sire to many champions. One of the silliest Malamutes we have had the pleasurer of knowing. He left us with lots of funny stories to tell. Kane obtained with CD by winning a High Score in a very large class. He always had a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face……you just knew he was up to something!
Ch. Glenhaven Artic Storm of Byeyo (Taz)
Taz was out of Ch. Glenhaven Hard Copy of Toraz and the beautiful Ch. Glenhaven Virtue Oso. He was co-owned with Cindy Hertwig
