Byeyo Kennels was established in 1975. My wife Vicki and I have been showing and breeding dogs for 45 years. We are owner/handlers and have either owned or bred over 75 conformation champions and numerous other titles. Besides conformation shows we have delved into agility, obedience, scent detection and herding. Our beginning was with Alaskan Malamutes and have owned an Australian Cattle Dog since the mid 90’s.
We are lifetime members of the Canadian Kennel Club and the Alaskan Malamute Club of America. I was past president of the Forest City Kennel Club and presently President of the London Canine Associate (Canada’s oldest kennel club). I am currently the Vice President of the Cattle Dog Club of Canada and a past director of the Ontario Reining Horse Association. I am also a Canadian Kennel Club conformation judge since 1994. Vicki was an area representative for the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada and the Canadian Representative for the Chondrodysplasia Program of America.
Some of our notable wins with the cattle dogs have included #1 Cattle Dog in Canada in 2016, 2017 (Breed), 2019 and 2020. Owners of two National Specialty Best of Breed winners and multiple Specialty wins along with a Reserve Best in Show. We bred/owned multiple Best in Show winning Alaskan Malamutes (one of them being the youngest Malamute anywhere to obtain a Best in Show at just 8 months of age). We owned the #1 Alaskan Malamute in Canada in 1980 and 1988. Breeder of a Westminster Kennel Club breed winner and a 2x Top 20 winner at the US National. We received the Pedigree Top Breeder in Canada Award.

We have a small farm operation just outside of London, Ontario, Canada and have raised and showed Quarter Horses, had a small beef operation and raised sheep. The cattle dog fit in perfectly. Their intelligence, total devotion and natural abilities helped me with the daily operations on the farm.
We occasionally have puppies. Our goal with each breeding is to preserve the breed focusing on the breed standard with great temperaments, good health and intelligence. Puppies are only placed in approved homes. They are a busy breed when they are puppies but with proper guidance from their owners become a loyal and devoted companion.
